In brief, you should know the following about us: our studio was established in 2007 and was founded by Mr. Mrisho J. Magwamluhe. We are located in Block P area in the direction of the Kaole Ruins, approximately 200 metres from Bagamoyo town. We are just down the road from the Bagamoyo School of Arts. Our showroom is located at the old slave market in downtown Bagamoyo.

Many of the artists of the studio are former students and teachers of the Bagamoyo Sculpture School. The other artists are from various other art schools.

The works include sculptures, paintings, carvings and musical instruments.

Arrangements for exhibitions, and performances can be made by contacting us.

The Bagamoyo Art Studio also offers workshops and short courses in Arts and crafts and languages (Swahili and English). These courses are instructed by Mr. Mrisho Magwamluhe. Please enjoy yourself as you browse throught the art gallery pages.
